巡査鉄兵の推理日誌 (2000)

A police officer battles to solve a murder while clashing with his superior officer. Officer Tetsubei finds a man's body with a crushed face and wiped fingerprints. He recounts the discovery and his own theory to Lieutenant Yukari, growing frustrated with her. Later, Tetsubei visits Kanako's shop, where Mizutani, her missing husband of seven years, unexpectedly appears.
