Description:
DRIVING TO ZIGZIGLAND follows a day in the life of a Palestinian cab driver in Los Angeles, depicting the challenges faced by Arab immigrants in America after 9/11. When Bashar gets cast for an Al Qaeda terrorist role, he faces an urgent deadline to pay his bills. Throughout the day, he transports a constant stream of passengers who engage him in conversations about topics ranging from suicide bombers and George Bush to music, the Iraq War, and world geography. Bashar's efforts to earn the money he needs culminate in a difficult choice between the Department of Homeland Security and his family.
