Description:
Shortly before the start of the Eichmann trial, transcripts of recorded conversations between Adolf Eichmann and a Dutch Nazi journalist, Willem Sassen, were anonymously given to prosecutor Gideon Hausner. These conversations took place years before Eichmann was captured by Mossad and brought to Israel. During the trial, Eichmann attempted to portray himself as merely an administrator following orders. However, the transcripts reveal him boasting about his key role in planning and carrying out the Final Solution. The film presents these recordings for the first time, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding their discovery and the hidden motivations behind their concealment.
