Description:

Angelino Jack Robinson takes his wife Ann, sons Shane and Todd, and daughter Elisabeth "Lizzy" on a sailing trip from Hong Kong to Sydney, Australia, for his new job. A gun provided by Sheldon Blake is faulty, and near Borneo, Blake's men appear to capture them. The family escapes but loses their yacht on a reef and establishes a camp on a nearby island. However, pirates repeatedly return, and the boys discover Blake hid treasure aboard the yacht. Shane is captured multiple times by Françoise, a French woman who survived a plane wreck, but she eventually joins the family.
