Shadowman (2001)

Animator and filmmaker Jon Coley’s eighth film concludes the ‘Other Realms’ series for television. Coley works with friend and model Janine Ashton, who stars opposite Coley’s stop-motion ‘Shadowman,’ a figure inspired by Count Orlok from the 1922 horror film Nosferatu. The live-action footage was filmed in 1994 at Harleston's Masonic Rooms (The Old Mineral Works) as part of another project that was later cancelled due to funding issues. Nearly ten years later, in 2001, Coley animated the figure and re-edited the footage, adding a soundtrack for this episode.
