Description:
The film reveals the surprising origins of familiar nursery rhymes. "Little Jack Horner" tells the story of a servant who stole a valuable estate deed from King Henry VIII, hidden inside a pie he was delivering. "Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary" recounts Mary, Queen of Scots' unconventional French fashions and her tumultuous life, including imprisonment, escape, and eventual flight to England where she was imprisoned by her cousin, Queen Elizabeth. "London Bridge" explores the bridge's history, from its construction in 1209 and transformation into a bustling commercial center, through the Great Fire of 1666 and subsequent rebuilding, to its eventual demolition and replacement in 1823 due to decay.
