Description:
In 2010, musician Watanabe Toshimi planned to return to his hometown in Fukushima to begin a life of farming. His son, Toui, was preparing to retake his high school entrance exam after failing the previous year, and both anticipated new beginnings. However, the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake forced Toshimi to abandon his plans. His hometown was located within 20 kilometers of the Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant. To support his father, Toui, who had passed his entrance exam, promised to attend school daily. In return, Toshimi vowed to pack him a bento box every day.
