Description:
In 1931, following the Mukden Incident, sniper Ren Tianxing defied orders and led his anti-Japanese squad in a deadly night ambush. He was severely wounded but rescued by bandits. Five years later, living a solitary life of drinking and gambling, he encounters Bai Ge, a former comrade. To safeguard Bai Ge, Ren Tianxing joins a CCP underground assassination unit, tasked with killing Japanese virologist Sakamoto Ichiro to protect the populace. However, it is his former adversary, Sorimachi Kazuya, who successfully assassinates Sakamoto while seemingly protecting Ren Tianxing. Ultimately, only Ren Tianxing, Bai Ge, and Lao Jiao survive the evacuation.
