Description:

This character-driven film retells the story of Joseph from an Egyptian viewpoint. Here, Joseph is called Ram. Dissatisfied with his family's traditional beliefs and weary of his brothers' bullying, Ram journeys to Egypt to learn about agriculture. His brothers accompany him to the Sinai, but then betray him by selling him to Ozir, an Egyptian working for Amihar, a military leader in Thebes. Impressed by Ram’s ambition and charisma, Amihar gives him land outside the city. Ram soon becomes entangled in the power struggles and romantic intrigues between Amihar and his wife, Simihit, a prominent priestess.
