Description:
In a modest tenement in Bombay's Grant Road, Mr. Malwankar lives with his son Arjun, daughter Sudha, and wife Rukmini. Still working for an exploitative employer well past retirement, he struggles to provide for his family. Arjun's job search proves fruitless until he intervenes in a street beating, and with the help of friends, drives off the attackers. This event dramatically alters his life when one of his companions is killed. Discovering the killers, Arjun takes justice into his own hands, leading to his arrest and subsequent release. However, his father disowns him. A politician, Shiv Kumar Chougule, recognizes Arjun's potential and offers him employment and support in his fight against local thugs. Arjun finds purpose and contentment in this new direction.
