Description:
Set in 1970s Brazil, the film follows Miguel, Eloi, Osvaldo, and Paolo, who were involved in armed resistance against the military dictatorship, enduring torture and imprisonment for their actions. Years later, the four friends reunite. Only Miguel remains politically engaged. While looking at an old photograph from a political rally in São Paulo, he identifies a policeman present – the very officer who tortured them and was responsible for the death of Miguel's girlfriend. The policeman died a few years ago. During a fishing trip, Miguel reveals his discovery to his friends. As they seek out and confront their tormentor, they face internal conflicts and tensions with each other.
