Roman R., a professional enforcer, has a job to do: a kill scheduled for four in the morning. The film follows the final moments of both the assassin and his target, leading up to their meeting. It explores what the enforcer takes before carrying out the assignment, and the psychological effects it has on him. The film also questions why he chooses to kill once and release a hostage at another time.
