Werner We Love You (2017)

As a child, Werner Herzog witnessed his father's brutal death. His mother, struggling to raise him, sent him to a harsh youth institution in Freistatt. He later worked as a bouncer at the city's roughest music club and tried to build a family. Now, at 77, Herzog lives a solitary life in the countryside with his dog Lucky. He has persevered through hardship, forging his own distinctive path.
