Donner Pass: The Road to Survival (1978)

In 1846, a group of determined settlers battles to reach California, facing overwhelming challenges. Already fractured by disagreements over leadership and their path, the wagon train is relentlessly attacked by Native Americans and pushed to the brink by dwindling supplies and harsh weather. After months of hardship, they reach the High Sierras, only to be trapped in a mountain pass by an unexpected snowstorm. As starvation looms, the pioneers are forced to confront not only the elements but also each other, as basic human instincts take over.
