Description:
This is a cautionary story about Pam Banner, a 17-year-old high school student who becomes pregnant. After her baby is adopted, Pam feels ashamed to return to school, so her father finds her a job as a receptionist for a talent agent. At a party, a rock star seduces and leaves her, leading Pam down a path of partying, casual relationships, and drug use. She befriends Jeannie, a sex worker who supports Jimmy, a man struggling with addiction. The three of them eventually share a living space, and Pam finds herself drawn to Jimmy. As Pam misses work increasingly often, Jeannie wants to escape their lifestyle, and Jimmy battles withdrawal, Pam is caught in a dangerous situation. Can she find a way out?
