実録・小野田少尉 遅すぎた帰還 (2005)

Second Lieutenant Hiroo Onoda (Shido Nakamura) continues to fight guerrilla warfare in the Philippine jungle for thirty years after World War II ends, unaware the war is over. He remains with his men, Corporal Shimada (Toshiro Yanagiba) and Private First Class Kozuka (Hidetoshi Nishijima), unable to fulfill their duty to Japan. When a rescue team arrives, Onoda refuses to return, suspecting it's a trick. However, he eventually agrees to go home in March 1974 after meeting adventurer Norio Suzuki (Masato Sakai), who has traveled from Japan to find him and confirms his mission on Lubang Island is complete.
