Description:
Two projectionists operate two 16mm projectors, employing freeze-frame techniques. This performance enhances newspaper text through intermittent projection, pausing and restarting the film during its run. These pauses reveal fleeting glimpses of the newspaper. Two identical prints are projected side-by-side, with subtly shifting image sizes. The projectionists work to synchronize the films by freezing and running them alternately. During these brief moments of synchronization, unexpected events occur due to the slight misalignment of the two images and their sound.
