Magic Eye (2005)

In 1997, amidst the riots in Albania, retired photographer PETRO journeys from his home in Gjirokastra to Tirana. He carries a Super-8 film containing footage of a killing and needs it developed. Unbeknownst to him, the film captures how a television cameraman – BERTI – orchestrated a man's and his granddaughter's death for a sensational story. Petro encounters Berti during his trip to Tirana. Upon developing the film, Petro discovers the truth and realizes he is in danger. After a series of eventful experiences, he attempts to reveal the film to the public, only to find it has been stolen. Now, Petro is the only one who knows the truth, while the media disseminates false information about the events in Gjirokastra.
