Description:
A medical student, Steve Sandvoss, makes a startling discovery during a research project: he can reanimate recently deceased mice. Taking a break with three friends, he confesses his love to Sophia. Tragically, she drowns in a lake shortly after. Driven to save her, Steve uses his research methods to revive her, a process requiring the extraction of oxytocin from a fresh corpse. To keep Sophia alive, he murders two women and attempts to kill a third, actions that draw suspicion from his friends and the police. The film concludes with Sophia regaining her memory of her death, prompting a reevaluation of the protagonist's motives.
