Description:
In 1882, Sanshirou travels to Tokyo in search of a skilled martial arts teacher. He encounters Yano, a judo master who impressively defeats 39 jujitsu practitioners alone. Impressed by Yano's abilities, Sanshirou resolves to become his student. He then develops feelings for Sayo Murai, a woman whose father is a martial arts instructor at the police. Meanwhile, Sanshirou must also contend with Higaki Gennosuke, a formidable jujitsu fighter and his main rival.
