Manoeuvres (2017)

Dario, an aspiring actor, and Belen, a military woman, try to navigate a world where truth is more challenging than deception. A lieutenant and a director challenge them to confront authority – both in art and war – and to examine their own identities. The film questions when the use of power becomes abuse, and explores the roles of those who wield power and those who are victimized when everyone seeks to achieve their aims. Their attempts to find their way are complicated by the interference of the social system, which restricts their freedom and self-determination.
