Description:
In a small village in Maharashtra, aspiring stand-up comedians Pandu and Mhadu are noticed by influential politician Babasaheb Pathare, who is frequently attacked by opposing parties. Impressed by their talent and their need for work, Babasaheb offers them jobs with the Mumbai police force, incorporating their act into a skit. They successfully complete their training and join the police as Hawaldars, Pandu and Mhadu. However, Mhadu becomes corrupt, accepting bribes, while Pandu distinguishes himself as an honest officer by solving several cases, gaining public recognition. Pandu marries Usha Keliwali with the approval of their families and Babasaheb. But this seemingly positive turn of events is revealed to be a carefully orchestrated plot by someone seeking to harm Babasaheb, using Pandu as a pawn due to his close relationship with the politician.
