Description:
A Norwegian war drama. An aging sea captain seeks retirement, but his plans are disrupted the day Germany invades Norway in WWII. After a final farewell to his wife, he reports to Army HQ, where he's disheartened by the lack of leadership and low morale. He faces ridicule for his old-fashioned uniform and rank. The lieutenant then rallies a group of volunteers to fight back against the German forces. The film follows his unwavering determination to defend his country, even when others abandon hope. He is committed to fulfilling his duty and protecting what he loves.
