Window, Suzuki (2001)

A room. Three young men and a woman. Satou is dead, shot. The woman cries, but it’s unclear if it’s from grief. Suzuki and Yamada argue over watching the window, unaware of who fired the shots, why, or who they are targeting. They don't know their location, their enemies, or how many there are. Were they mistaken for criminals, brought to commit a crime against the woman? They can’t be sure. Dead bodies lie before them. Approaching the window could mean death. Suzuki, the group leader, is frustrated when Yamada confesses feelings for Sato. Bolstered by this, Suzuki is interrupted by a second gunshot.
