Description:
Savita Oberoi, a powerful businesswoman, clashes with her son Ashwin, who is deeply in love with Pooja Sundarlal, a woman from a humble background. Pooja's father, Porash Sundarla, is a former poet now living with disabilities, and her mother, Sudha Sunderlal, is a homemaker and teacher. Mrs. Oberoi desires Ashwin to marry Lily, the daughter of Mr. Puri, who lives in the United States. When Ashwin confesses his love for Neela, his mother agrees to meet her, is impressed by her father, but still forbids the marriage. Under pressure, yet determined to stay true to his feelings, Ashwin marries Pooja and, to appease his mother, also becomes engaged to Lily.
