Nobap (2009)

Set in a remote village in Manipur, the film follows eight children desperately wanting a football. Unable to afford one, they resort to kicking a pomelo instead. Thambou, a jeep driver who regularly travels between town and the village, notices their plight. With the help of his friend Thanou, he arranges for the boys to get a real leather ball and compete in a seven-a-side football tournament. The story is also interwoven with lighthearted romantic moments between Thambou and Thaja, and Thanou and Thoibi.
