Description:
Prince Nicki is enjoying his honeymoon in the Alps, while Mitzi and Schani are getting married. Mitzi still harbors feelings for Nicki, and a jealous Schani plots to kill him. Schani shoots at Nicki, but Cecilia intervenes, shielding the prince. Schani flees and goes into hiding. Nicki and Mitzi have a final meeting, where Mitzi tells Nicki she will enter a convent. Nicki then departs for war and is killed. This is a sequel to von Stroheim's *The Wedding March*, released only in Europe. The sole known copy was destroyed in a fire at the Cinémathèque Française in 1959.
