Der Ruf (2020)

Steffen and Ben embark on a missionary trip through East Germany, a region with a recently re-established Christian presence. New to the faith, Steffen relies on the guidance of the seasoned Ben to prove his commitment. The pair aim to spread their message in rural villages, blending traditional religious teachings with modern elements like teenage slang and Christian hip-hop. However, when Steffen struggles with public prayers and sermons, a tense and potentially volatile relationship develops between the two men.
