Description:
Dr. Gupta is nearing retirement and wants to arrange a marriage between his daughter Jyoti and his colleague, Dr. Anand. However, Anand is too busy with his egg farm to court Jyoti or help with the business, so he hires Mukesh as property manager. Jyoti falls for Mukesh and defies her father by deciding to marry him instead. Mukesh desires a better life but is secretly married to Geeta, whom he abandoned after learning she was illiterate. Dr. Gupta is injured in an accident and brings Geeta home to recover, teaching her social graces and ensuring her son's education. In return for his kindness, Jyoti prepares to marry Dr. Gupta. When her father arrives for the wedding celebrations, he recognizes Mukesh.
