Reborn (2021)

In early 2020, the novel coronavirus epidemic spread worldwide. Da Zhicheng, owner of a struggling small hotel, desperately tries to sell it after over a year of losses. Graduate student Jiang Xiaotian travels to Wuhan for an interview, having dedicated years to robotics research. Liu Huohuo works as a messenger in the city. When the epidemic hits and Wuhan is locked down, all three face life-altering challenges: financial ruin, job loss, and hospitalization. Despite the hardships, they discover warmth, hope, surprises, and strength along the way.
