While sorting through her recently deceased father's house, Isa, a pregnant woman in her middle years, is unexpectedly visited by her terminally ill mother – a woman she hasn't connected with since childhood. Their strained relationship ignites a painful confrontation, forcing them to confront years of buried emotions.
