Description:
The Junction is a little-known crossroads in the Gaza Strip, dividing the Israeli settlement of Nezarim from the Palestinian refugee camp of Nussierat. Surrounded by a crowded Palestinian neighborhood, the Junction became a site of conflict in September 2000 when the Second Intifada began. The resulting violence claimed many lives, both Palestinian civilians and Israeli soldiers. Once a vibrant hub, it is now desolate. The film delves into the lives of Israelis and Palestinians to examine the culture of death that fuels the ongoing violence in both communities.
