Description:
Erich Kessel is nearing release from prison after serving a three-year sentence for drug trafficking. The former narcotics officer, now clean of addiction, is grieving the recent death of his daughter. His wife, Claire, is ready to welcome him back, and his old friend Superintendent Diller has secured him a job as a bartender. Determined to rebuild his life, Kessel wants to prove he's changed. However, just before his release, a double murder – a young drug dealer and his fiancée, daughter of Syrian crime boss Walid Schukri – complicates things. Schukri, currently imprisoned with Kessel, offers him a large sum to find the killer. Faced with financial hardship, Kessel is tempted by this high-stakes investigation operating on the edge of the law.
