Description:
In a bleak Chicago winter, Billy Cochran struggles to connect with those around him. His mother, Gina, battles declining mental and physical health, haunted by memories of her past. One night, an unexpected rat bites Billy in his bathroom. Initially, he feels fine after a tetanus shot and begins to form a bond with Myra, Gina's new caregiver. Then, fur starts growing on Billy’s skin, disappearing as quickly as it appears. As he confronts this unsettling change, Billy is forced to confront the terrifying possibility that he is transforming into a rat, plunging him into a disturbing reality where he uncovers the primal depths of his own nature.
