Description:
In the Sierra Maestra mountains of Cuba, a day before the 52nd anniversary of the Revolution, the lives of several people intersect. An elderly man repairs an old motorcycle. A young dentist seeks transport to a remote mountain clinic. A married couple operates a public phone booth from their home for villagers without phones. On this day of revolutionary celebration, their stories unfold alongside those of many others in the region. But the following day, life returns to its familiar, uninspiring routine. Yet, the Revolution persists… For how much longer?
