Description:
During a six-year federal prison sentence, artist Jesse Krimes secretly creates large-scale artworks. These include a remarkable 40-foot mural made from bed sheets, hair gel, and newspaper. He smuggles the mural's panels out in pieces with the assistance of other inmates, only seeing the complete work after his release. As Jesse’s art gains recognition, he faces difficulties readjusting to freedom, constantly living with the fear of returning to prison.
