Description:
Gautami is an Indian Odissi dancer whose life revolves around her passion for dance. Jai Leang is a talented Chinese painter whose work reflects his cultural heritage. Drawn to Gautami's grace and charm, Jai finds himself repeatedly dismissed by her, as she is wary of marriage after her father's betrayal. Gautami travels the world for her performances, intentionally distancing herself from others, leading to a loss of contact with Jai. When Gary organizes an exhibition of Jai's paintings in India, he begins a search for Gautami and discovers her in a monastery. He asks for permission to paint her portrait, and that night proves to be pivotal.
