Description:
The Camparis are a family of women. Sheri, the dominant mother and former ballroom champion, finds fulfillment through her youngest daughter Tasi, a popular amateur dancer. Tasi is close to her older sister Toni, who feels overshadowed. The only man in their lives is Cedric, Tasi's dance partner and Toni's friend. When Tasi becomes pregnant, Sheri plans to train Toni to take her place in an upcoming competition. But Toni is evolving, having fallen for fellow dancer Moana. Perhaps this new relationship will help Toni embrace the challenge. This musical comedy, reminiscent of *Dirty Dancing* and *Little Miss Sunshine* with a touch of Baz Luhrmann, explores a unique female family dynamic and one character's journey of self-discovery.
