Wendy… Uh… What’s Her Name (2006)

In February 1974, newspaper heiress Patricia Hearst was kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA). A month later, Hearst joined the SLA in a bank robbery in San Francisco. Following a shootout with police in Los Angeles, Hearst and two remaining SLA members fled to rural Pennsylvania, where they encountered Wendy Yoshimura, who was wanted for weapons charges from 1972. After three years on the run, Yoshimura was captured with Hearst in a San Francisco apartment. The FBI threatened Yoshimura, and she was held in isolation for 40 days before being jailed for three months. Eventually, the Wendy Yoshimura Fair Trial Committee intervened on her behalf.
