Description:
In 1958, after a dangerous game of chicken, Akagi casually walks into a Yakuza Mahjong parlor to evade the police. Despite never having played before, his natural gambling ability helps him assist a low-level gambler named Nangou, earning him a spot at the table. As the night unfolds, the game's stakes escalate, and so does the suspicion surrounding Akagi, who is being watched by local law enforcement. Akagi navigates the situation with his own methods, seemingly unafraid of both fate and danger. By the time he departs, everyone present recognizes his exceptional talent.
