Description:
That summer, nineteen-year-old Giulio plans to stay home and help his parents with their garden. A new neighbor, twenty-year-old Lia, moves into the vacant house next door. He wants to connect with her, but she's withdrawn and reserved. During a swim in the lake, Lia nearly drowns him. Giulio, gentle and considerate, becomes consumed by her. Drawn to her, he finds himself constantly thinking about her as she introduces him to unusual and increasingly risky games. Lia remains secretive, refusing to discuss her past. She says she's alone, spending the summer in the old family home, a place she hasn’t visited since childhood. But Lia is hiding things, fiercely guarding the abandoned house.
