Description:
"Carol of the Bells," a beloved Ukrainian folk melody transformed into a celebrated Christmas song, symbolizes global unity. The peaceful life of three families – Polish, Ukrainian, and Jewish – sharing a home and celebrating together in Stanislaviv is destroyed. First, the Soviet occupation and persecution of the Polish family, followed by Nazi occupation and the devastation of the Jewish family shatter their world. The Ukrainian family sacrifices everything to save their neighbors' children and their own daughter. Despite immense loss, the song’s enduring promise of hope and joy—a future that persists—remains.
