EastVan ‘John’ (2008)

Dennis and Barb McDonald, suburban retirees, finally get the keys to their new house. They bought the burned-out property directly from its previous owner, John Jeffery, who has lived on the site since the fire a year ago. John is the last remaining member of the neighborhood's original families, now surrounded by new residents focused on restoring the houses' appearance rather than building community.
