Description:
Alucard, a vampire who was brought back to life in modern-day New York, has changed significantly over the centuries. He doesn't need blood anymore and is no longer affected by crosses. He spends his time with his friend, Helsing XVI, who comes from a family of vampire researchers. Alucard acts as Helsing’s ghostwriter, penning a fantasy romance novel about his experiences in the past. At a Halloween party celebrating the book's release, Alucard, dressed as a vampire, meets Lucy, a college student aspiring to be a dentist. As he develops feelings for Lucy, he increasingly longs for humanity – a desire that poses a deadly risk for a creature of immortality.
