Description:
Pianist Carla Ruaro and her team spent 40 days on a journey through the Brazilian Amazon. They transported a piano by boat to reach remote riverside communities that had never encountered such an instrument. Working with local composers, this independent project brought contemporary Amazonian music to these communities through workshops and musical performances. The initiative also fostered connection and appreciation for both community and artistic expression along the river.
