The Red Cell (2008)

A terminally ill patient awakens in a dark, decaying underground chamber. An IV delivers an unknown liquid, and wires form a crown on his head. His last memories return him to the hospital where doctors diagnosed his condition. He hadn't even had time to tell loved ones about his impending death before being taken here. Someone is lurking behind the walls, and Ayden discovers he's captive to a psychotic killer conducting bizarre medical experiments. But the captor holds hidden depths, which Ayden will uncover. What begins as a cruel experiment transforms into a desperate fight for survival – against both his captor and his own failing health – all so he can say a final goodbye to his family.
