Description:
In October 2001, Munich residents approved a new soccer stadium in the city's north. The futuristic structure will become the shared home of 66,000 fans from FC Bayern and 1860 Munich. This film documents the four years of construction, following director Wolfgang Ettlich and cameraman Hans-Albrecht Lusznat from the groundbreaking to the completed arena. They offer an inside look at the massive logistical undertaking – coordinating hundreds of workers and the stadium's gradual development into a fully realized complex featuring VIP boxes, restaurants, and Europe's largest parking garage.
