Description:
Produced at the request of the Japanese railway authorities during the occupation of Korea, this documentary aimed to promote the idea of Korea and Japan as inseparable allies. Like many films of the era, it intended to clearly convey this alliance. However, director Shimizu Hiroshi deviates from the typical ideological approach by focusing solely on street scenes. He films ordinary people engaged in their everyday lives.
