Description:
This is a story about growing up in wartime Japan. Takeshi, a bright boy from a fishing family, is the schoolyard bully. When his cousin joins their family to escape air raids, Takeshi initially welcomes him, but soon starts bullying him as well. Ultimately, Takeshi's dominance is challenged and he loses his position of power.
