Description:
In late 1919, the family of Giannis Anastasiadis flees their village in Pontus, his father already lost in forced labor camps. Scattered across Anatolia, his sisters Kerekia and Victoria succumb to typhus. Giannis and Isaac are separated in 1919, remaining apart for over six decades. Giannis eventually reaches Greece, but continues to search for his brother, writing letters that he persistently sends. After numerous attempts, a Turkish official finally delivers Giannis's letter to Isaac, paving the way for a long-awaited reunion between the two brothers.
